About Dr. Tyes
Jonathan C. Tyes, MD, is a physician, educator, mentor, and community leader whose work is rooted in a simple belief: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.
A first-generation college graduate and the eldest of ten siblings, Jonathan’s path has been shaped as much by the people and communities that raised him as by the institutions where he has studied. An alumnus of Morehouse College and the University of Louisville School of Medicine, he is currently completing his residency training in Anesthesiology while pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Harvard.
